For generations, ALTEX has been shaping a more sustainable future by returning textile waste to industrial material cycles. The foundation of our company was laid by Bernhard Stienemann in 1936 – along with a commitment that continues to drive us today: keeping textile materials in use for as long as possible through consistent recycling and recovery processes.

We give textile waste a new purpose. By reusing and processing textile materials, valuable resources can remain in circulation for longer and the demand for virgin raw materials can be reduced.

To recover valuable fibre resources, we rely on innovative mechanical recycling processes. Using state-of-the-art technology, textile waste is carefully separated into its individual fibres, enabling these materials to be reused in a wide range of industrial applications and reintroduced into the material cycle.
